This wine is wonderfully balanced, offering generous fruity aromas.
The tannins are fine, the bouquet is elegant and enticing.
This soft Vino Nobile can be drunk after several years.

Grapes: Sangiovese 90%, Merlot 5%, Cabernet 5%

THE CELLAR
Vinification method: the grapes are de-stemmed, soft pressed and subsequently fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature with the addition of selected yeasts. The maceration lasts 16 days.
Ageing method: ageing takes place in 5 hl French barrels for 12 months, followed by at least 6 months of bottle ageing.
AT TABLE
Pairing: Vino Nobile is a robust wine which is best appreciated with red meat, grills, stews and game. Excellent with Pienza pecorino cheese and all ripe cheeses, it also goes well with vegetarian dishes including eggplant or radicchio. It is perfect with fillet steak with mushrooms.
Serving: the bottle should be opened a couple of hours before drinking. To be served at a temperature between 16 and 18°. Vino Nobile is best enjoyed in the tulip glass.
